Nitpick, I don't think MTG has ever claimed to be Catholic. She says her denomination is "Christian Nationalist" which is incoherent, and the church she regularly attends is one of those "Non-denominational Charismatic" megachurches. She's just an evangelical who doesn't know enough to understand it in those terms.

Ugh. Charismatics are the theater kids of Christianity. It's hard to be the most obnoxious denomination, but they manage.
