The current administration will immediately accuse the goo of being "woke," and ship it to Alligator Auschwitz.

That was actually an episode of Star Trek:The Next Generation. A entire planet decided to be "100% vanity" by casting out its "evil" (in the form of a black sludge, go figure) and imprisoned it away. Spoiler, over centuries the sludge became more angrier, powerful, got telekinesis (throw rocks with their mind), and took over that entire planet.
