I've read something on twitter about how apparently recently Iran finally used like one of their modern rockets and dealt major damage to Israel; apparently they were using their old, 20-30 year old missiles to overwhelm the iron dome and then after getting rid of Israel's iron dome, they'll use their newest tech.

Actually pretty well thought out.

They have an absurd stockpile.

I'm curious because I would have thought Israel would have a stockpile that was absurd compared to anything the world has ever known. The entity has the greater Satan, the greatest arms-maker the world will likely ever sustain, feeding them supplies. Which one has the greater supply?

Afaik Israel mostly has a stockpile of absurdly expensive ammunition, and burns through it pretty fast whenever missiles start flying.

You mean before or after they spent most of them slaughtering families in Gaza? They spent the vast majority of them raining them down for almost two years now; it's even become a point that America has to keep sending them more cause otherwise they're gonna run out. The amount of devastation they've applied, causing it to be compared to Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Vietnam all combined is what it looks like when they earnestly just run out their stockpiles. Iran on the other hand has clearly barely touched their own.

Yeah like, aside from that last sentence, no part of saying that doesn't feel heartbreaking.

Most likely it is. The anti-missile munitions are more complicated and more expensive than the actual missiles. They have to be fairly sophisticated to essentially intercept a speeding bullet mid-air. They cost more and are slower to produce. It is easier to engineer and produce at scale missiles that hit a stationary target.

Belevie it or not north Korea, they manufacture something like 60 percent of the world's missiles and artillery, american, russian and Iranian production is not as good because they are libs. The best outcome for this war is one in wich Iran transitions to military socialism, if they do that then it's over. Some faction in the militia have been pushing for this, but the technocrats refuse.

"You WILL take this healthcare, and you WILL get free education!"

The news then explains how Iran is now oppressing people via free healthcare and education

THEY'RE ROUNDING UP SICK AND INJURED PEOPLE INTO THESE INSTITUTIONAL BUILDINGS TO DO MEDICAL PROCEDURES ON THEM!!! SOME OF THEM DIE IN THE PROCESS!!!! THEY EVEN CART THEM IN IN THESE LARGE VEHICLES WHERE THEY RESTRAIN THEM TO A BED AND HAVE AN OFFICIAL WATCHING THEM EVERY SECOND!!! THE TRUCKS HAVE FLASHING LIGHTS AND MAKE NOISES AS A WARNING TO LET OTHER PEOPLE KNOW THEY BETTER NOT GET SICK OR INJURED!!!!

You use militias to force the economy to focus on military production, ration some products, and temporarily suspend market mechanisms to ensure everyone has food, and basic necessities.

As the crisis ends, you switch to other economic activities, while still keeping aggregate demand high by investing in productive equipment, without the need for market mechanisms like loan financing. Untill you end up with infrastructure spending.

Basically the Soviet model during WW2.

Ploughshares -> Swords (T-30/40s) -> Ploughshares + Swords

[–] Formerlyfarman@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago

BasicLli the problem with Iran's economy is that instability is preventing their capitalists to invest and their people from consuming more, so someone else has to do the investing, in this case the militias persuade the private firms to do their part for a little while.
