She said she wants the CCM industry to crumble - Christian Contemporary Music. If you're not familiar it's a very big niche, but essentially they imitate whatever music is popular but make a Christian version of it. And because for some people they'll only listen to Christian music, it's a captive audience.

That's not what she was saying. But also, Christian music is pretty garbage.

She is contrasting being gay as a sin with profiting on "faith and vulnerability". Nothing to do with "music is bad."

“I grew up around this. I am not afraid of any of these people — most of them have written me off anyway by now. How many stories like this from this VERY small corner of the music industry will we hear before we realize that capitalizing on people’s faith and vulnerability is the ‘sin.’”

After reading it, I think she means that some of this wouldn’t have happened if many Christians weren’t so hostile to LGBT+ people.

There's definitely some crazy logic in this comment, but it isn't coming from Hayley Williams.
