By pure chance I started watching just a few minutes before Trump himself came to the stage. The footage was so controlled - it felt like I was watching a cheapie made-for-tv movie or something and for some reason they had to scrap the CGI crowd stuff they were going to use as quickie filler. There was no no crowd footage at all. The Hail to the Chief played, the president plus his wife came out, and they sat down. And that was it.
