Those guys are authoritarian commies btw, in the sense that they defend Stalin, Mao, and North Korea. I wouldn't care too much about that, but they mod the lemmy.ml instance and ban views that they disagree with, so if you say something about tiananmen square, you might get banned for 'spreading western propaganda' or some similar reason

I love the lemmy software and the fediverse in general, but I really don't feel comfortable giving money to people like them.
