He stole all the data he wanted, bricked every service that investigated him or his companies plus a few others for good measure. It would not surprise me if pretty soon whatever is left of these services is declared totally non functional, but Lo and Behold there is a private company with only minimal ties to Musk that is ready to take over their funtions badly at only twice the cost and with every right to tell people to fuck off whenever they feel like it.
It's worse than that, they legitimately think they were fixing things and could beat their own deadline.
They weren't fixing things and could never beat their own deadline, and now they're all leaving.
They started a whole bunch of shit and finished none of it, there's going to be consequences are across the federal government for damn near everything. And agencies don't have any choice, they can't say they won't use the new obviously broken system.
We just have to plow ahead, watch it explode, and hope there's enough pieces after.
