You are right, we don't deserve better this.
'Rules based international order' as opposed to what?
How do you expect society to function without rules of behavior, for example?
Nobody follows the rules unless it is convenient.
Were you born yesterday?
Seriously? Plenty of currently functioning democracies have people following the rules because they have faith their govt will represent them fairly.
I'm thinking this is a massive self report, but truth be told — I don't care.
We are not talking about peasants here, topic is the behavior of the sovereigns.
I don't think you understand what "The rules based international world order" means in geopolitical context.
