How is nobody talking about the fact that The Simpsons Arcade Game got home ports to DOS and Commodore 64 but not NES, SNES or Genesis -- and didn't arrive on console until Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? (lemmy.world)

I think either PS1/Saturn/N64 or PS2/Dreamcast/Gamecube would be the first time I'd trust a console to run the game authentically.

An NES version would be so stripped down it would feel disappointing.
