They'd be a much better country if they abandoned their inefficient investment system where the profits of capital investment pay for infrastructure and public services. They need to be civilized and rational and add those profits to the wealth leader board highlighting the shittiest people in the country.

Investors are private equity now. You're going to hear a lot more in the next couple of years about private equity I predict. Google Blackstone, leverage, risk, regulation, transparency. They basically do leveraged buyouts with very little actual capital and a fuckton of borrowed money based on expected returns. Which are ghosts.

An entire system built on vapour and any downturn means leverage collapses and everyone I mean everyone gets unemployed. 2008 was a warmup.
