Technically, what's in this picture is a soup with no color and no density, but it clearly has a tactile texture π€―
Itβs a software developer / designer joke, that texture means no texture on a 3D model
Technically, unless procedurally generated with nodes, there would be a normal map texture/bump texture applied to the soup to get those reflections.

That's an acurate description of what a normal map does. Looks more 3D without adding actual depth.
Strange. I touch my screen and it's all greasy and smudgy.
I was thinking the same - it's missing the albedo texture but it has the normal/bump map plus at the very least fixed metalicity and roughness values.
Or a described shape with ray marching
