Journalism is fine, it's the societal ambivalence to the corruption and crimes of the rich and powerful that's the problem.

I wish it was fine, but most journalism is under corporate control, aka "We're not going to show this because this company/person is a big source of money to us"

That's true, but even so, corruption and illegal acts manage to get reported on. It just makes no difference unless the person doesn't have enough GOP connections.
