Well, friend, I hate to break it to you, but your package experience is going to be every modern distro out there.
You're running an OS that evolves weekly and monthly. Think about who makes software for Windows, and why it's always fucking terrible.
You're running an OS that needs constant attention and builds to make it compatible. It's a lot of work, and I have to say how annoying you are for complaining about free shit that annoys you.
Can't say this is an idea or attitude that happens much in today's world.
I'm not sure where did you get an idea that I was complaining about something. I've been running Linux for over 15 years. I know how to maintain my system. I was simply saying that I found a distro that's better FOR ME than the one I was using.
