A Wisconsin teenager accused of murdering two family members and plotting to assassinate President Donald Trump was inspired by Terrorgram, a white supremacist network that operated on the Telegram messaging and social media platform for half a decade, according to federal court records.

The Terrorgram community, which has been linked to around three dozen criminal cases around the globe, including at least three mass shootings, was profiled last month in stories and a documentary produced by ProPublica and FRONTLINE.

The court documents allege that Nikita Casap, a 17-year-old from Waukesha, Wisconsin, wrote a three-page manifesto calling for the assassination of Trump in order to “foment a political revolution in the United States and ‘save the white race’ from ‘Jewish controlled politicians.’”

In his manifesto, Casap allegedly encouraged people to read the writings of Juraj Krajčík, a longtime Terrogram figure who murdered two people in an attack on an LGBTQ+ bar in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2022, according to the court records. Casap also allegedly recommended two publications produced by the Terrorgram Collective, a secretive group that produced alleged hit lists, videos and written publications — including instructions for building bombs and sabotaging critical infrastructure — and distributed them throughout the Terrorgram ecosystem.

Ahh there we go. I had a feeling sooner or later the Nazis would grow tired of Trump's bullshit. Now the liberals can rest easy while fascists do their own dirty work. Win/win

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 66 points 1 day ago (4 children)

They're not tired of him. The point of assassinating him was the hope that it would start a race war, which they believe they'd win. If anything, they believe his sacrifice would save the world.

They don't hate him, they think he's Jesus.

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 5 points 12 hours ago

I would so enjoy watching them nail Trump to a tree.

Not forcing the south to pay for reconstruction and not executing traitors was the worst decision we've ever made.

[–] Biskii@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don't think I'd be here if they had to pay for reconstruction. I'd be willing to make that sacrifice

I get to never exist AND racism is ended? Count me in

Good thing their MAGA religion is made up. And while 100% they do think Trump is Jesus, he isn't coming back from the dead. If anything, assassinating him would implode the GOP as it's entire structure is now accupied by complete imbeciles who just copy Trump. No Trump, nothing left to copy.

That's the thing about Fascism - it's always just populism. Aka vote for popular guy, and do what he says.

Hell most neo Nazis still have a boner for Hitler despite him not being around. The best they can do is convince themselves Trump is just like their fave Fascism daddy.

Populism is weak, because it always rests on the popularity of one guy. Trump is that guy, and once he's gone so is his populism.

Would be hilarious if his fans did him in thinking he'd be coming back from a cave on Easter, instead of shattering the entirety of the GOP for a generation. Without Trump, they don't know what they're doing, and they seem very eager to find that out the hard way.

Agreed. But it's easier to explain to American Christians they are fully practicing a second religion with MAGA, rather than convince them all religions are crap.

Trump has been alive for quite a while, seems like his playbook is well documented. Lie, lie, lie about your lies, forget your lies, lie to cover up your lies, never ever ever ever ever ever - under any circumstance - tell the truth if it makes you look bad.

Doesn't seem that hard to copy for someone with money and connections to Russia.

[–] EightBitBlood@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Oh sure. Not hard at all.

But what's he's been lying about is:

-Everyone in politics sucks but me. -I'm the best at everything. -Dems are horrible. -Republicans that aren't loyal are horrible too.

These lies have made him literally the only necessary component of MAGA by default.

Russia unquestionably used this to their advantage, but a campaign built on lies still remains weak if theres only one person those lies are centered around.

If Trump isn't around to "compare" democrats to, it'll be pretty obvious he's lying about them. Even more so when the GOP realizes not a single other slime ball in his swamp has the reality TV experience or fast food charisma Trump does to keep his audiences engaged with endless bullshit.

Wait...

If they think he's Jesus...

And they're plotting to kill him...

Wouldn't that make them... 🧐
