Ive been listening to chapo since circa 2019, on and off as of late, and cant really shake the feeling theyre getting close to ending. Maybe in the next year or so as theyve been focusing on movies as of late.

If they do, great and if they dont also great. Its their project and I support whatever choice they make.But it is a vibe Im getting.

I've felt a similar vibe for a while, but I think I've interpreted it more as the pod becoming less important to its hosts than the other things they do. They'll probably keep doing it until it stops making money, since having the safety net of that income is a huge deal, but for a long time its been clear that it's not getting their full attention anymore.

FWIW, I think that while Will and Matt had always been very focused on the pod, Felix has always seemed to go through phases. I don't want to speculate, but I think it's mental health related, and he goes through periods of burnout or maybe even some form of depression. There was generally a pattern when he'd seem really low-energy for a few episodes, he'd vanish for a month or so and come back. I think with Matt being absent due to medical issues, it's maybe become more difficult for the other hosts to take extended breaks which can affect the show.
