I don't understand the point of these paper-thin political comics. They don't make me laugh and they don't have a real message.

People aren't sharing them because they find them funny, they do it to share their political views.

Without realising they're preaching to the choir.

I don't think a comic has to be funny per se. That's why I also pointed out it has no substance. But yes preaching to the choir is a good way to describe what's going on here as well.

Comics don't have to be funny, they can be used to show a message/point of view. A great example I can think of is "Maus".

And if you don't like/get the message, that's fine. To each their own.

Pizzacake definitely isn't funny, nor are their political comics very sharp. Seems more like pandering their fanbase
