I don’t speak French, but I assure you I would kill and if necessary die to ensure Quebec always can. We stand together.
That moment when Louisiana (in the U.S.) looks around and says wait, our laws are based on Napoleonic laws, we French based too right?
I mean, the Cajuns, the best part of Louisiana, are basically Quebecois.
Some would argue the Cajun are the Quebecois who were unwilling to submit to British rule.
No argument there. They stayed French much longer that way.
It’s the old “I don’t necessarily agree with what you are saying, but I would defend to the death your right to say it” ideal, and I’m 100% down for it.
