I’d love an electric motorcycle to take to work instead of my hybrid suv, the manufacturers don’t seem interested in or capable of making a 150 mile range unit for less than 20k though

yah ... noticed earlier today that several mopeds (15-50km range) now cost hundreds (except in the US of course), E- bikes cost thousands. I've only ever seen ONE E-cycle near where I live (actually I heard it-making NO sound- before I looked at it).

Some of the US state laws around this stuff are none-sensical. Either they're stupid or discouraging. Or both.

But E-bikes that weren't toys were -rare- a few years back, and now some 750w bikes can be had around $1K. So...hang in there! (Batteries are getting better, lighter, cheaper...)
