How does Communities > Moderator view work? (lemmy.world)

I would expect it to reduce the list of communities to just those I moderate, so just to !bunnies@lemmy.world here. Instead it looks just like the Local list of communities for me. It occurred to me I could be very wrong about what Moderator view is supposed to be. How does this work?

Checked on 0.19.8 on ani.social with @Elevator7009sAlt@ani.social (mods one community on that instance) and Moderator View did not match with Local. It showed me a bunch of lemmy.world communities, none of which @Elevator7009sAlt@ani.social mods. What version are you checking on?

Seems strange, my alt on Lemm.ee shows the list of communities I mod. They are all local, if that matters

All communities I mod, I mod with an account local to that instance, so that isn't the issue.
