It's really not a technicality to get worked up about.
I disagree. Anybody that joins Loops right now is forced to the one instance. That's not federation. That's not an issue for you. Which is valid. But you don't get to police those who don't share your view.
Nobody is "policing" anyone, I just don't think it's a valid argument.
The irony
I don't think you understand what that word means.
Sure
They've done federation on a few test posts, but it's definitely not there yet for normal users to use.
