Hi everyone!

2025 is here, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Voyager for Lemmy.

  • What features would you like to see added to Voyager in 2025?
  • Are there any bugs or issues that are bothering you?

Do you receive enough to make a living improving voyager?

Not even close πŸ˜… I did apply for NLNet at one point but didn’t make the cut, probably because I’m not in the EU.

Unfortunately funding for OSS in general is just not sustainable full time. And funding for OSS that is not a software dependency (part of the build chain) is nonexistent in the USA (as in $0.00 dollars in funding available).

Pretty much all β€˜real’ OSS funding in the USA is grants by companies using the software under the hood which just isn’t a thing for software like Voyager.

Based on his librepay and github sponsors history, the answer would be no. Dont know about the donations through app store and play store
