Yes. That's the hubris of capitalism. Climate disasters don't discriminate based on class, but they are accelerated by the ruling class.
Yes but unlike most people, their losses do get covered by insurance.
And they can afford to flee far away and stay in hotels in the meantime.
Pretty much. Just like when Malibu burned. My South LA ass isn't even close, although everything smells like campfire and if you have asthma (as many in poverty do) it's still dangerous.
Oh they’ll be fine. They can afford plenty of real estate.
