Can't wait. How exciting would it be if China did to the chip market what they did with electric cars?

What's the support for RISC-V like for your favorite distro?

NixOS has some preliminary support from a handful of people, so that's a good start. I would expect to have to put in some significant work to daily drive it though.

I expect we'll also see a lot of work on making Linux software work with RISCV coming out of China in the near future.

Hopefully we can get a better system, even if it's a fork from it, but that isn't under control of the US...

My favorite distro is Gentoo, which of course being probably the most mature and popular source-based distro, there's support for various architectures including RISC-V.
