I'm playing Final Fantasy 15 A New Empire. It's a shitty kingdom-building mobile game with guilds and sieges and endless timers. It's got nothing to do with FFXV, but in my headcanon this is what Noctis was doing during the timeskip.

If anyone knows where to download either King's Knight or War for Eos, then I'm all ears! I want to play everything related to FFXV out there.

Awesome! What do you think of Final Fantasy XVI?

And do you play the MMO Final Fantasy XIV?

[–] WaterBowlSlime@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I haven't played either of them. Funny thing is, I didn't even know 15 existed until I heard news about 16. So apparently not many people like the game as much as I do.

Ah, so you haven't played any of the two.

Well, Final Fantasy XIV has the best story, apparently (well, for an MMO, anyway). And people liked Final Fantasy XVI, but thought it felt too much like Game of Thrones (which is a show I don't like anyway, but love A Song of Ice and Fire, the book series that it's based off of).

There's also Final Fantasy VII Remake as well, which people apparently like, at least the first part. Not sure how the second one was received, but honestly? Gamers like to complain. And Final Fantasy fans apparently like to complain especially.

Very true. I've seen a lot complaints about how the remake has changed the story but I think if was kept the same, we'd be hearing complaints about how it's a soulless repeat instead. Personally, I think it's an interesting subversion of expectations and I like how Sephiroth makes more use of his dick ghosts (which WERE in the original too). I'm looking forward to the new ending and I hope it's as memorable as crisis core.

Hell yeah! You've played it then?

[–] WaterBowlSlime@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I've watched a full playthrough of the first part. I have the game and could play it myself too right now but I don't feel like it. I'm more interested in ffxv slop at the moment

Slop can be good, tbh.

Enjoy!
