What is a free and open-source alternative to Google Photos where I can still back my stuff up to some sort of cloud (e.g. Nextcloud) for free? And presumably at least the same 15 GB of storage that Google Photos offers. Also available on F-Droid?

Ente, but it's free only for 1 year (and has 5GB). Privacy costs...
