A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Rules

The entire showerthought must be in the title

At some point in the future there will be a movement to completely drop all computer technology for privacy reasons (lemmy.zip)

Privacy services are sometimes hard to learn so people will just decide to go back to the old days. I imagine that it will be easier in a group.

My lab partner in school was a memnonite. I'm sure she doesn't speak for everyone, but her comment on the topic was something to the effect of,"we don't hate technology, we just wait to see if you guys can work out all the kinks first."
