Is that one of those smelly durian fruits?
No. Definitely tastier. At least the fruit part. There is a different part that is more fleshy that is less tasty. It's used as a pulled pork substitute in vegan dishes.
It tastes like very overripe pineapple to me. Maybe I didn't get it at the correct ripeness or something.
Yea and there are several varieties too, some don't get goopy at all, they stay firm. I personally love the goopies though
