Approval rating matter more than money...
Biden spent over a billion last election to barely win against trump.
If we ran a decent candidate, it would cost a fraction of that to get a Dem in the White House
Approval ratings = mainstream media propaganda
What about Biden makes him not a “decent candidate”? Especially when Biden’s opponent is literally the definition of not-a-decent-human-being.
Do not pay any attention to this bullshit. VOTE like your life depended a on it. Because it fucking does.
Voters not liking him...
Based on his words and actions in some areas and lack of such in others.
But it sounds like you're just going to tell me that voters opinions don't matter again.
And then complain why people won't just "get over it" and vote for Biden.
Beating trump is important, so why are we just barreling ahead with a bad candidate against him?
Who do you have in mind?
This going to sound super far fetch, I know... But one can identify a problem without knowing the solution. OP isn't running for president.
Yeah sure, just curious what names people have in mind. If none that's fine
None is my first choice, Literally Anybody Else is my second.
"We're trying to stop fascism. What's your solution?"
"I don't have one, but I really don't like what YOU'RE trying to stop it, and I will try to convince everyone that your way is unacceptable!"
In other words, if you're not going to help, get the fuck out of the way.
Nobody said "unacceptable". They said Biden isn't going to win because he's a bad candidate.
Elizabeth Warren would be great, and she's also old enough boomers won't freak out about being replaced like when Obama ran.
There's lots of options, but you asked for one.
Elizabeth Warren ran for the nomination and lost, and gave a full-throated endorsement of Biden after she withdrew
She didn't lose as much as she wasn't picked.
Yes, she wasn't picked by Democratic primary voters
2016 taught me the DNC isn't shy about putting a thumb on the scale.
The superdelegate system that caused very real controversy in 2016 was changed after that. Superdelegates no longer get to vote in the first round, so they only influence the outcome if there's a contested convention. I believe they also decreased how many superdelegates there are
When was that?
And can you name a single major primary candidate that didn't do that for the nominee except Hillary Clinton?
Because I'm like 99% sure she's the only one from the Dem side who didn't.
Jon Stewart would be just fine, but we can also just open up the convention and do it there.
The idea that you need to have a solution to bring up a problem is idiotic.
