Yep. This is my favourite episode in the entire show. I like how seamlessly the flashback tied into the moment and how it enhanced the scene.

Serie is an intriguing character. It seems like she's actually proud of how much Flamme accomplished but at the same time I really do believe that Serie trained her on a whim. I think it's because her expectations were shattered, in that she really wasn't expecting anything at all. I feel it's kind of similar in a way to how Frieren seemed so proud of Fern casually being able to kill her, except it's a more active feeling.

Of course, the fight scene was pure eye candy as usual. The animation is always nice, even in the low action scenes (I mean most of the show is dialogue anyway).
