Huh, I remember trying a year or two to get my Google drive setup and there was only paid options out there.

rclone is definitely open-source. I just used it to set up sync for my KeePass DB, since the KDE-integrated GDrive doesn't work with KeePassXC. It takes a bit to set up (mostly because the Google Cloud console is fucking awful and takes seconds to register any interaction), but works nicely afterwards.
