Pretty much the title. Like, get those handheld scanners and attach them to the carts. I scan items as I put them in, roll up to a "register" where the cart is weighed and verified by a cashier. I just hand over the cash then leave. Or even better, install load sensors in the cart.

Usually I like to pack my groceries into my boxes as I get them into the cart. Keeps things orderly and neat and I also don't buy more than I can carry home. But this means I have to unpack them to place on the belt then pack them all over again after paying. It would be kinda nice to just pay by the cart load.

We operate our body with a single processor, the brain. Our organs are also managed by the brain. The brain is highly optimized to operate each of our organs, control motor functions, and allow us to think.

1 brain cannot control 2 bodies, there's simply too much going on. Likewise, 2 full brains cannot control the same body, they would fight for resources. Organs keep the brain alive, the brain keeps organs alive. It's a 1:1 ratio, sometimes less than 1, but never double (some have been born with extra controllable appendages but it's few and far between).

Therefore, only a higher, more generalized, processor could handle operating 2 or more distinct beings.

This would be a double-edge sword tho, since they likely end up having even wilder conspiracy theories, even believing in untrue ones, since they would just think there is an even bigger government hiding more secrets one level deeper.

I don’t know if there already is a real Web 3.0 definition out there (the first search results I got were using web3.0 to promote crypto so fuck that definition) but like Web 1.0 was the internet being a way for specific scientists/hobbyists/organizations to send esoteric data right?

Web 2.0 is the shift over to creating and sharing content on a broad scale, people reaching out through the web to interact and express themselves. Creators and companies trying to reach out to be accessible by lots of people.

We went from “you have to put in work to send/receive data on the net” to “it is easy for you to send stuff to the net and recieve stuff from the net” to “the net knows where you live and begs you to give it data it can sell then takes that data even if you refuse”

We also went from “you want this info, you need to find someone with it, set up a connection, get it” to “now we have efficient search engines help you easily find what you want” to “the internet is now the library of babel but worse because all the nonsense is ‘AI’ which can sometimes convincingly look like it isn’t nonsense.”

Both those paths seem like direct continuation so I propose we use web3.0 as a term for the enshittified internet.

Thoughts? We can call the decentralization of the net 4.0 because it’s being spurred on in response to 3.0 yeah?
