Explore a brutalist dystopia and save people by guiding their souls into digital afterlife in this experimental narrative RPG!

HYPERxFANTASY is an experimental narrative RPG set in a brutalist dystopian underworld teetering on the edge of digital ascension. As Dreamer, navigate an endless megastructure, use a versatile glider to traverse its vast, abstract spaces and advance non-linear storylines through branching dialogue. Tasked by the enigmatic Executor to "digitize everyone" and save them, you will soon question the cult-like hierarchy of this desolate dreamscape, uncovering a conspiracy at the core of the Singularity itself.

Gameplay seamlessly blends dynamic exploration, tension-filled directional swordplay, and innovative narrative mechanics. As the game progresses, its surreal storytelling is elevated through unexpected shifts, from interactive "choose your own adventure" segments to striking 2D sequences that mirror the world’s gradual digitization.

Themes of existentialism, transhumanism, and evolution are woven ambiently into the experience, allowing immersion in its philosophical underpinnings without overt exposition. Inspired by the narrative depth of NieR: Automata, the atmospheric mystery of Control and Firewatch, and the bold visual aesthetics of Blade Runner and Tron, HYPERxFANTASY offers a thought-provoking journey through a surreal, visually striking landscape.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Innovative Storytelling: A surreal narrative blending "choose your own adventure" segments with 2D transitions reflecting a digitizing world.
  • Glider Exploration: Glide through the infinite megastructure, soar over obstacles, descend from towering heights, and traverse abstract environments that emphasize speed, verticality, and freedom of movement.
  • Environmental Discovery: Immerse yourself in a world filled with strange creatures, surreal vistas, and hidden secrets. Discover personal stories and uncover the game’s mysteries through exploration, environmental cues, and unique interactions.
  • Branching Choices: Shape the story and relationships through dynamic dialogue and impactful decisions.
  • Tension-Driven Combat: Deliberate directional swordplay heightens key moments and stakes.
  • Rhythm Challenges: Rhythm-based mini-games inject energy and complement the surreal storytelling.

If you want to experience HYPERxFANTASY, add it to your Wishlist our on Steam page. Demo is coming out soon!

Any feedback here will be appreciated!

Hey r/Games!

I’m excited to share that we’ve just updated the demo for Mini City: Mayhem on Steam! If you’re a fan of city builders and enjoy testing your quick thinking and time management skills, this game brings a unique twist with Tetris-like mechanics and a focus on vertical building. I’d love for you to check it out and share your thoughts!

Steam | Trailer | Twitter

What's it about?

In Mini City: Mayhem, you're tasked with rapidly constructing and expanding your city while managing a growing population that just won't slow down. Build houses to increase your housing capacity, but act swiftly, the population keeps rising, and overcrowding can bring your journey to an abrupt end!

You have a hand of building cards, each representing different structures, and use your gold to play them strategically. Choose wisely to get the most out of your gold, stack buildings vertically to maximize space, design road networks to connect your buildings effectively, and try to keep up with the population boom. Every decision matters as you race against time to develop your metropolis and unlock iconic landmarks.

The demo features three unique maps inspired by real-world cities: Pisa, Istanbul, and New York. Each map offers distinctive layouts and challenges, leading to the construction of famous landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Galata Tower, and the Statue of Liberty.

Why should you play Mini City Mayhem?

If you're a fan of city builders and like to challenge your quick thinking and time management skills, this game combines both to give you a unique experience. Whether you enjoy fast-paced gameplay or prefer to take things at your own pace with different game modes, there's something here for every aspiring mayor.

The full game will feature over 10 new maps, each introducing new challenges and landmarks to discover. We are expanding the Mini City: Mayhem to include more cities and game modes to keep the content fresh.

The demo is live now, so dive in and experience it firsthand! Your feedback is incredibly valuable as We continue to develop the game. ❤️

Hi everyone!

I’m working on my dream survival game, and I’d love to share some of the key features:

  • Expanding backpack: It literally expands as you fill it up. Carrying too much loot can slow you down, and you might need to drop your backpack before a battle.
  • Upgradeable wagon: Craft or buy new wheels, storage boxes, and even a new wagon body to boost capacity, speed, and durability.
  • Trading: Discover rare traders in cities, build your reputation, and unlock exclusive rare goods.
  • Classic survival elements: Manage hunger, thirst, gather resources, and loot your surroundings.

In the future, you'll be able to hire travelers for your caravan, buy your own home, and open your own shop. I’m currently working on the player equipment system and roguelike elements.

Check out the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3116730/BIG_LOOT/

I’d be super grateful if you could add it to your wishlist! :)

Hey r/Games!

I'm a solo dev who's been working on City Game Studio since 2017, and I'm excited to finally share it with you all!

  • Steam page:
  • Trailer:

What is City Game Studio?

🎮 Genre: Management/Tycoon

🌆 Setting: 1976 - Modern day

🏆 Key features:

  • Start in 1976 with a tiny rental space and expand across a procedurally generated city
  • Create and manage multiple game studios, each with their own specialties
  • Design and manufacture your own gaming consoles to compete with industry giants
  • Run your own digital store platform
  • Spy on competitors and crack their games
  • Handle studio acquisitions and publish games for other developers
  • Organize marketing campaigns and attend conventions

The game recently got a massive update (v1.21.0) adding studio directors to handle repetitive tasks, letting you focus on the big strategic decisions. You can now automate game development while focusing on expanding your empire!

What sets City Game Studio apart from other game dev tycoons is its deep city-building aspect. Your success depends not just on making great games, but on strategic studio placement, managing multiple locations, and competing for prime real estate with other developers. Each playthrough is unique thanks to procedurally generated cities and extensive mechanics.

The game is available now on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux. I've built it using 100% open source technology (Godot Engine), and I'm constantly adding new features based on community feedback.

If you're interested in seeing more:

I'd love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions about the game's development or features!

Hey everyone! We’re a family of game enthusiasts with a deep passion for pixel art. After three games that didn’t quite resonate the way we hoped, we found ourselves questioning our path. It was a tough moment, but instead of giving up, we decided to regroup, self-fund, and pour everything we had into creating something truly special.

And now, we’re thrilled to introduce Lord Ambermaze, a time-stopping pixel adventure that’s finally coming to life!

Set on a mysterious island ruled by the enigmatic Lord Ambermaze, the game follows Zin, a humble fisherman on a desperate mission to save his sister from a dark fate. Armed with the legendary Sword of Motion, Zin must traverse five perilous levels, face relentless monsters, massive bosses, and uncover ancient treasures—all while mastering a world where time moves only when he does.

Key Features:

Time-Bending Combat: Time freezes until you act—strategize every step and strike to outwit enemies and turn the tide of battle.

Immersive Pixel Art: Discover a visually stunning, handcrafted world with a unique style that draws you into its atmospheric depths.

Boss Battles: Take on colossal does that demand not just strength but smart tactics to defeat. Each boss encounter is a puzzle to solve.

Clever Puzzles and Exploration: Beyond combat, the Sword of Motion unlocks pathways and mysteries in ways you’ll need to think creatively to master.

Zin’s story isn’t just about heroism—it’s about family. He’s not a knight or a chosen one, but a fisherman from a small village, doing everything he can to bring his sister back home.

It’s been a challenging journey to get here, filled with lessons, heartache, and determination. But today, we’re proud to share Lord Ambermaze with you, and we hope you’ll join us in this adventure.

Your support means the world to us—thank you for being part of this journey!
