I just edited the post with download links. It needs a 250x250 build plate. I’m working on a smaller version, but it’s gonna take some time.

Does anybody really know what time it is?
Growing up, my family had a Welby mantel clock, and I wanted to create a replica of it. I had mostly completed the design when I discovered that someone had actually already made one. So I started over with an original design inspired by the Welby but also incorporating elements of Weimar clocks. The design is parametric, so I can easily alter the shape if I want.
Printed on a Bambu P1S, 0.2mm layer height. Designed to not need any supports. Printed with what I had on hand - the outer shell is Hatchbox wood PLA, the face is Sunlu black PLA+, and the “brass” inlay, hands, and feet are eSun gold silk PLA.
I threw in a cheap clock movement from the craft store, and voila!
Yep. I’ll be uploading it to a few sites tonight or tomorrow. Just need to make a few minor adjustments.
You’re the first to notice the crewmate.
The tiles do affect the ball movement slightly but the tolerances are small enough to be acceptable for what this is - a desktop toy. I’ve been playing with this at work all week and the real fun is in building. It has definitely been a huge hit at my office!
I doubt that there would be enough contributors for it to ever catch on. But I did design this with expandability in mind (it’s basically a miniaturized Gridfinity knock-off). Maybe I will publish the specs and/or a tile template…
I’ve heard the screams of the vegetables!
