Spent a few days getting annoyed at NiceBarX and NiceCaller randomly shutting off for no apparent reason. It failed to record an important call I got while at work, so I finally started looking into what is wrong with it.
It turns out, my companies firewall (like majority enterprise firewalls) blocks connections to overseas, which includes the NiceBarX and NiceCaller license server... and if it can't reach it's license server after 2-3 hours, it will shut the tweak off...
So these tweak are useless when I am at work, AND are draining battery and using data by constantly reaching out to China somewhere. Pretty damn annoyed at this. If I had known this, I never would have purchased them. Hopefully I don't get a call from my works cyber security department wondering why my phone is constantly trying to contact overseas.
