Basically title. Been looking into handhelds lately, and really think I'm gonna get a Steam Deck. But..
I figured the main appeal of a handheld gaming device is to play on the go, right? Granted, I haven't had a handheld since the DS Lite. However, I never travel. I basically go to work and home, and whenever I do go somewhere I'm the one driving.
Lately though, there's days where I get home from work and I'd like to play some games, but I just don't feel like sitting at my desk to play them (which is what first made the SD appealing). I also have quite the backlog on Steam, and I've heard the Deck is great for burning through your backlog. I'm also interested in getting into emulation of older/retro games, since I feel I missed out on a lot of them from not gaming much as a kid.
So basically, do you think the Steam Deck would be worth it for me?
