I always read gm as 'gamemaster'
Or Good Manner. (GM vs BM) duels in D2
There too damn many TLAs.
WTF is with these blurry pink goop ai Cthulhu tentacle fingers
It's called "motion blur."
If I pause the video to screencap it, there’ll be a play button on the image and then people complain about it, so blurry images it is 😃
That makes sense.
(Though I was totally willing to accept a lovecraftian transformation while onehandedly executing an onion with the knife of suppressed emotions 😅)
IDK WTF TAM.
Is TAM a name or an abbreviation?
Tool Assisted Masturbation.
Tapping Ass Motherfucker
BBQ
RGBW equal rights
Too many multiple meaning abbreviations…
First thing in the morning, ATM I make sure to look at the BBC.
So... first thing in the morning, automatic telling machine you make sure to look at the big black cock?
The idea of there being an ATM version of you that likes to look at big black cocks first thing in the morning gives me a chuckle.
I have also seen ATM also be “at the moment” or “ass to mouth”
Na, fuck everyone using autocorrect these days, it makes text conversations so stilted, hard to read and passive aggressive feeling.
We threw away emotional nuance in texting because of the people who just find it annoying not to text in proper english.
Slang and abbreviations are expressions of context and familiarity which are necessary for conversation that isn't purely transactionary in nature.
First of, how little do you have going on to find time being upset at people spelling correctly?
Second, who are these we? Sounds like a problem you have with your contacts.
I still get communication based entirely on hieroglyphs.
First of, how little do you have going on to find time being upset at people spelling correctly?
I find it slightly but not overly insulting you think the nuance of language is not consequential. What are we doing here then?
I am not upset at any one particular person at any one point, I am upset at a trend.
Upset at the trend of spelling words correctly?
Maybe you'd feel more at home if you moved to a ghetto. I hear they are, in general, more cavalier with their use of language.
What the hell kind of answer is that?
Maybe just type in English like a human instead of making me guess what you're trying to say. And fuck that "u" shit. You don't have a 12 key phone anymore.
Maybe just type in English like a human instead of making me guess what you're trying to say
no u
auto correct sucks balls
auto correct can suck Bopha! Deize Tigrona Nutsedge
I don't need autocorrect to write without obscure abbreviations on my phone!
Fucking autocorrect.
...
Fucking
What the duck, I intentionally tried to write ducking both times. I only manually typed the last one, the other 3 are autocorrect. So useless.
I no longer have this problem due to Android. But the way to solve this is to go to the shortcuts page in settings where brb turns into be right back, or whatever, and make shit shorthand for shit, fuck for fuck, etc
Appreciations made sense in the era of ten-key messaging - except for the (older) irc/chat shortcuts like ttyl, lol (but you could also argue that’s what autocomplete is for). You’ve got a whole keyboard. Use it.
But autocomplete just gave us "appreciations" when you meant to type "abbreviations," so you still gotta pay attention.
And the era of SMS, where you had 160 letters and had to be creative to push as much information into them to avoid paying for a second SMS.
It was an odd time when FTW was on all the video cards as an older person its meaning was different to me... Mind you that was peak mining times so the cards were kind of a FTW in power usage.
