I know this might be basic and somewhat cliché, but for some reason, virtually every time I see a rifle from the AK-100 series some small part of my brain yearns to collect every one of them.

This also extends to the Izmash Tigr ((:

The AK-200 series is also a very strong contender, but I don't know how many of the SNAFUs of the AK-12 it shares.

However, for various reasons and considering my mental health record I'm virtually unable to legally own firearms in Germany in the first place.

Additionally, I suppose all the mentioned rifles have either become hard to get and/or exceedingly expensive, because of sanctions and such.

sadge indeed 😔

Most likely I'll just join one of the culturally more modern Air gun associations (Schützenverein) that's not too far away from me...

If I had more disposible money I'd love an AK103. They are so buttery smooth compared to Zastavas

I have a 103 clone. I use it for hunting with a 5 round magazine. Love it far better than any AR

I know basically nothing about it, but I can imagine that 7.62x39 is significantly better for hunting than 5.56x45

Also legal for large game unlike the .22 calibur 5.56mm round
