I now spent close to an hour trying to figure out Robinson's political leanings, and as of right now the internet simply does not know.

And then there's a lot of talk about bullet engravings which leave me very confused. How can you engrave "If you're reading this you're gay" - 26 characters onto a single bullet? Even so, the messaging is open to interpretation. We simply do not know yet, and we might never know 100%! He's conflicted, that much seems clear.

30.06 is a large bullet and the words were allegedly written on the cases of the bullets, not the rounds themselves. Good to be skeptical but a fine point Sharpie could get 26 characters on there if you had small handwriting or did multiple lines or whatever.

The investigation is ongoing, but I want to make it crystal clear right now to whoever did this. We will find you. We will try you and we will hold you accountable to the furthest extent of the law. And I just want to remind people that we still have the death penalty here in the state of Utah.
We can return violence with violence, we can return hate with hate. And that's the problem with political violence, is it metastasizes. Because we can always point the finger at the other side. And at some point, we have to find an off ramp, or it's going to get much much worse.

Where are the actual sources of this information? Are there police interview transcripts available somewhere? Are there reports about a transcript from reputable sources? So far all I've seen is wild speculation by untrusted sources.
As of now, all I actually know about this guy is that he shot charlie kirk.
Besides some rumors and claims that he police officers would already have confirmed themselves by now, there is nothing to suggest he is. The closest I've seen are the claims that he was "deep Groyper signalling" with the bullet case inscriptions, but that's just grasping at straws.
I suspect his Discord gamer group may have been more involved in shaping his ideology, specially if he was giving details on how he towel wrapped his rifle there. Unfortunately, Discord nuked it and now we have to rely on the (in)competence of the Trump appointed authorities and their heavy political baggage.
The fact is that is you have a group that fetishizes guns and fetishizes using them and the tactical encounters with them using a "second amendment" "it's there to act against the oppressor" ideology, you are going to get shooters.
