A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Your dad is prochoice because your sister is now sexually active. I understand that.
But is your mom mad because she wanted an abortion and your dad refused? Meaning either you, your sister or both were unwanted pregnancies?
Wild guess, reading between the lines:
Dad had an extramarital affair. His squeeze got preggers. Dad is suddenly pro-choice.
Mom finds out about the affair and the pregnancy and is now mad at dad.
OP only knows what his parents have shared, intentionally or not.
