Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

I'm not crazy, right? I've showed it to three people now and they all say its AI

What's the deal here?! It seems like several of the recent posts are AI (the fuck is that sumo video, WHAT IS THIS)

did he just touch it up with AI cause it was recorded in his PJs? Is he dead and they're covering for it?

Is this the autopen of video?

I'd say it's touched up to cover whatever the fucks going with his hands? Maybe he looks way to ill and not presentable, but in the window behind theres the reflection of a teleprompter moving and some guy thats filming him and that would be weird to include in an AI video.

I think this is the real answer. All the odd details (seemingly totally accurate background that remains unchanged for 4 minutes, teleprompter reflection, no unexpected changes) and movements (standard Trump movements, only occasional hand movement for emphasis, wobbly weird head) are unusual for total AI generation, but the freaky hand-morphing and telltale light/dark shading makes the graphics look thoroughly AI. So feeding a real video into AI, especially to cover up something like hands, would explain it all.

I mean why bother with makeup when AI is already known for its piss filter hyuk hyuk

I'm going all in on this video being AI. in the weird little "jump cut" his ring finger on his left hand becomes his pinky finger, and his original pinky finger melts into the side of his palm. the fabric of his tie and shirt behind his hands warp when the hands move. there's also some very weird morphing in the window behind him. they generated this shit no question.

100% on the hand morphing. I don't see any weird window morphing, I do see reflections of fairly plausible movements of the teleprompter and an operator or two. As said elsewhere, I suspect this was a real video passed into some weird AI filter.

Definitely AI slop. On top of the visual artifacts, his droning speech has that awkward monotone droning that comes from generated voice.

As for why: I think he is just lazy.

The real tragedy here is that for all his ass kissing, Trump couldn't even deign the dignity of giving this loser a proper response and just made an AI substitute instead, and probably didn't even make the post himself. How fucking humiliating would it be if Charlie survived and saw that lmao

I was wondering when they’d use AI to compensate for Trump’s medical problems…

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 19 points 12 hours ago

Probably touched up/edited with AI since this admin loves using AI slop.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

There is a feature in premiere that is called morph or something I can't remember. But it blends cuts together and it looks a little funky. It's probably that.

But also our wettest president could be having his people make these for him.

Most likely scenario: couldn't be bothered

This is the extent of "care" and "camaraderie" (scary red term for them) that bougies will give to their dead lib friends, knowing that eventually they'll be replaced. Not surprising, nor should it be.

[–] purpleworm@hexbear.net 7 points 12 hours ago

I think the sumo video would be less embarrassing if it was AI

[–] saladpresser@hexbear.net 1 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

I think it's just his hands because he's so insecure about them.
