MODERATORS
Checked his credentials of Mike Booth. He seems to have come from Turtle Rock Studios, not the veterans of Valve. Departed the company before Evolve and worked for Blizzard.
However, considering that the main success of L4D and L4D2 lies in the tech provided by the core team of Valve, it seems unlikely that it will have a similar success as L4D, although some games managed to capture a similar feeling to it without having worked at Valve, so there's still a chance, albeit a slim one.
He hasn't done anything positive of note since Blizzard eirher. Worked with Zucc on Facebook Spaces (lmao) and then Bad Robot Games which shit out some weird mobile Silent Hill interactive movie thing in 2023 and nothing since.
Is it Left 4 Dead 3? Lmao come on Valve count to 3 just once.
Edit: he works for Bad Robot Games so its probably a new IP
Also valve made the game good, not the other studio that made evolve and back 4 blood. Plenty of video essay on YouTube about it if you're interested.
