You won't regret using a rotisserie chicken as a bookmark.

[–] TomMasz@lemmy.world 20 points 2 months ago

The lingering aroma wouldn't let you forget, either.

No, too wet, must deep fry.

Big bookmark’s been trying to bury this one weird trick.

When reading a book from the library I normally use a fish. The change in olfactory intensity is the perfect reminder to bring it back in time.

Fish are a good choice, but im partial to cetaceans of all kinds.

Ah, here we have an alumnus of the Unseen University.

[–] dwemthy@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Possibly even faculty

Okay, but have you seen the price of rotisserie chickens lately? I'm not made of money.

[–] SippyCup@feddit.nl 1 points 2 months ago

Where are you France? They're a loss leader in most grocery stores in the US.

[–] ArrowMax@feddit.org 2 points 2 months ago

SCP-5031, we understand your distinct preference for rotisserie chickens and will ensure a suffient supply thereof.

Regrettably, rotisserie chickens are in fact not the answer to everything.

Finally, a solution to this problem

[–] itslilith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Eww, not a big fan to randomly have dead chickens in my feed :c

[–] Nikls94@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

I‘m more worried about the "cooking skills" of that person. That poor bird looks dryer than the Saharan desert. Look at that skin… less temperature, more time.

[–] outhouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Whqt kind of dead animal do you prefer?

[–] itslilith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

None, why would I want any?

Uh, to mark where you were in your book? Some of us like to read things in order over multiple sittings.

I know, crazy.
