Pedophiles are probably rampant among the rich and powerful. At that level where all your needs are provided for you either become wise or you become depraved. It's basically life 101. The richer you are the worst your chances are of turning out to be a decent human being.
It's more like the more decent a human being you are, the less your chances of becoming rich are. The exception is if you inherit wealth, but then you're likely to have been raised by rich assholes.
Considering how many average people are also child molesters, I'm not convinced there's a correlation.
