Some more cheap and great steam games you’ve probably never heard of. Also some games that are coming out soon that look great or the demo was good.

First the gems:

Ballionaire $8.63 The plinko roguelike for the people who don't really like roguelikes. Tactile, addicting and great on deck

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2667120/Ballionaire/

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami $6.99 A witty and sharply funny point and click detective narrative that will surprise you. The sequel is also top notch btw

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2637990/Duck_Detective_The_Secret_Salami/

Spilled! $4.79 a very calming and satisfying game about cleaning up your local waterways.

Cast n Chill $14.99 maybe the priciest one I will list but it isn't any less atmospheric and relaxing than the others. Can be addicting when you focus on chasing your white whale.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3483740/Cast_n_Chill/

Frog's Adventure $2.49 probably the most criminally hidden gem in this list! It's short but MAN did I have a good time with it on my deck one late night. Takes some configuring to get the controls working though.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2535670/Frogs_Adventure/

Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines $6.49 The text may feel too small on deck for some but as someone who feels like they live this title at work everyday this visual novel really stuck with me.

Pipistrello and The Cursed Yoyo $19.99 okay this is definitely the priciest one I will list, but if you have the money to splurge and you like retro action games you might deem it worth the price. I really liked it and it reminded me of my childhood playing games like Wario 4 on my gameboy advance SP

Kabuto Park $4.99 the one that made me actually use my steam decks touch screen. Short, but I absolutely loved this bug collecting card battler. If there's any game you buy from this list, my heart hopes it's this one.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3376990/Kabuto_Park/

TMNT: Tactical Takedown $15.99 I wouldn't have listed this because it's a storied IP but it has like 100 reviews on steam so idk if ppl know about it. A bit pricey but if you like this IP it's a good price. I really liked it though it's almost like a board game puzzle beat'em up. Very unique

PaperKlay $13.49 you've definitely never heard of this one. Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie inspired this surprisingly mechanically complex 3D platformer. Great game on deck maybe the best one here for on the go gaming.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1350720/PaperKlay/

Ruffy and The Riverside $17.99 The other 3D platformer I've been playing on my bus rides to work. Somehow even more charming than PaperKlay. I think it's worth the price

Now for upcoming games that look awesome or play awesome based on their demo that may not be on your radar:

Absolum - TBA I'm actually hoping you have already heard of this game because it looks and plays amazingly. Beat'em up roguelike that is actually good. Demo is still up!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1904480/Absolum/

is this seat taken? - Aug '25 you must have heard of this one as it's the 215th most wishlisted game on steam currently. Doesn't change the fact that the demo was a blast though. Very uplifting of spirits.

Consume Me - Sep 25th Even though it's a story about trauma the gameplay was surprising fun and engaging albeit frustrating (by design). A dark comedy life sim comprised of mini games, check out the demo!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2359120/Consume_Me/

Aquapark Tycoon - 2025 I played the demo for like 6 hours. It's a waterpark tycoon, it was fun.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2819470/Aquapark_Tycoon/

Winter Burrow - 2025 God this game scratched that resource gathering/managing exploring itch PERFECTLY. I loved this demo and can't wait for the full release.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3008740/Winter_Burrow/

Orbo's Exodus - TBA I am a big fan of Peeb's Adventure and while this isn't that, it's the next best thing. Crazy 3D platformer follow up to Orbo's Odyssey

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3005860/Orbos_Exodus/

My Card Is Better Than Your Card - TBA This is my GOTY, idc. It's a super cute and fun deckbuilder/battler that just.. can't describe it. Go download the demo right now stop reading.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3617620/My_Card_Is_Better_Than_Your_Card/

Hollow Knight: Silksong - late 2025 Have you ever heard of this hidden gem? It's definitely coming out later this year

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1030300/Hollow_Knight_Silksong/

I've spent a lot of time this year finding new indie games and I wanted to share. Please don't flame me if you've heard of all of these :(
