As a northern dweller I love the sun up at 9-10pm, sun up at 3AM not so much, especially because it also wakes the birds up
Checking in as the weirdo who likes both the long summer days and the short winter days.
I like longer daylight it’s key to me being happy, but I have a car now with led strips all over and I rarely get to drive at night so be nice to drive home again in the dark in winter
I am a solstice enjoyer. I want 16 hr days in summer and 16 hr nights in winter. 12-12 is basic and cringe. Fuck the fake ass seasons like autumn and spring and fuck the equator!
I fucking hate the summer.
Is this some sort of 45° N joke I'm too 20° N to understand?
The daylight hours per season is actually primarily effected by your distance from the equator, so a lot of places in "summer" won't see much difference.

That's daylight saving time's fault.
I'm a fan of all seasons for their own reasons. You weren't going to leave yur house anyways.
