This shit will never get fixed until radical fascist media talking heads get dragged into the streets and beaten to a pulp every time they lie through their goddamn traitor teeth about tEh sAtAnIc bAby kIllIng dEmOnCrAts.

Fuck the goddamn First Amendment; if you cant use it responsibly you LOSE IT. These fuckers need to be crushed like the vile, pedophile cockroaches that they are.

Because a Third one will definitely mean something.....

[–] tanisnikana@lemmy.world 82 points 1 day ago (9 children)

I don’t support impeachment. I support his demise.

Reading his obituary will be more celebrated by me than my own birthday.

[–] SynopsisTantilize@lemm.ee 3 points 17 hours ago

You ever see those memes where the killer comes into the house, but can't find the victim. So the killer does something akin to "shave and a haircut two bits.....

You don't have to kill these people. But you have a duty to revoke their right to vote.

[–] Chozo@fedia.io 37 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I support a third attempt.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 35 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I would actually prefer an impeachment and removal from office. That would actually be a huge step in unfucking our current situation

[–] uienia@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago

You are basically saying "if we unfucked our current situation then we could impeach and remove him from office", because the impossibility of holding him accountable is part of the problem.

[–] SeeMarkFly@lemmy.ml 13 points 1 day ago (4 children)

Reminder that the U.S. Government does not do what most American voter's want let alone most Americans.

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 54 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

Step 1: Vote for Trump.

Step 2 (less than six months later): Support impeaching Trump.

What's up with this group of people? Were they expecting something different?

[–] Sunshine@lemmy.ca 38 points 1 day ago (2 children)

A large bloc didn’t vote. Donald Trump never went past 49% in approval rating.

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

But isn't the poll specifically of voters?

[–] Lodespawn@aussie.zone 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Maybe they mean eligible voters

[–] TheLowestStone@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

The article states that there were 1171 respondents who consisted of "likely voters across the ideological spectrum."

There is a very large amount of people who straight up don't pay attention to the news and believed trumps lies.

it’s ok; he learned his lesson this time

Yeah, and the lesson is “I can get away with literally fucking anything because Congress is run by a bunch of limpdick imbeciles, fascist enablers, and fascists”

[–] chunkystyles@sopuli.xyz 5 points 1 day ago

Fucking Susan Collins...

[–] gabbath@lemmy.world 0 points 11 hours ago

And I'm sure a majority of Trump voters support a third term and maybe stop short at crowning him godking.

[–] aquinteros@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (2 children)

like he gives a fuck .. and an impeachment is absolutely useless, everyone knows that

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 19 points 1 day ago (2 children)

*impeachment is useless because half of Congress is acting in bad faith

[–] SabinStargem@lemmy.today 4 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Putting their vote on record is important. Knowing who the baddies are, will be helpful when a civil war happens. We don't want Trump supporters to have power in any decent government.

[–] suburban_hillbilly@lemmy.ml 1 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

Yeah, making that record made all the difference after the last two times.

[–] FreakinSteve@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

Go to the traitors' offices and beat the living daylights out of them.

What good would impeachment prove when it’s happened twice before and nothing comes of it

[–] toiletobserver@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (2 children)

This time, Congress could stop blowing the cheeto and have him removed. You know, one of the branches keeping the others in check. I know it ain't likely, but a man can dream.

[–] uienia@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago

At this point they are all so complicit in his crimes that that will never happen, because it will implicate them as well.

If only a majority of Americans actually voted...

Impeach and Remove. See, I've learned impeachment is toothless without that second bit, have to be very specific with expectations.

For a second, i missread the title as third term instead of impeachment and was like "WTF!!!"

[–] dirtycrow@programming.dev 12 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Republicans in the Senate are terrified he’ll wreck their careers. I genuinely don’t know what it would take for him to be removed, besides his MAGAt supporters actually calling to have him out of office (we’re past the point of reason). Though, most are too stupid to know when they’re getting screwed until the bill is served.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

shortest honeymoon after Melania's

[–] You_are_dust@lemm.ee 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I support doing it, but it's ultimately pointless. Nothing will come of it.

[–] maniclucky@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

But let's do it anyway. If anything, it ties up a shitty Congress for a little bit.
