Federal and local law enforcement officers smashed their way into the Michigan homes of pro-Palestine student organizers on Wednesday in what the state attorney general's office said was a vandalism probe—but critics called an attack on dissent against Israel's genocidal assault on Gaza.

Backed by FBI agents, officers broke into homes in Ypsilanti, Canton, and Ann Arbor on Wednesday morning. Video uploaded to social media by Students Allied for Freedom and Equality, a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter, showed officers battering down the door to a Ypsilanti house before others rushed into the home barking commands with guns drawn and pointed at the residents.

"No search warrant was provided," someone says in the video as the invaders crashed through the homes' locked front door. People in the house said their phones and other electronic devices and possessions, including vehicles, were taken.

It might just be me, but vandalism doesn't warrant a violent response, and investigating it absolutely doesn't warrant one

But what about all the hurt feelings of the Zionists? The only way to make them whole is to kill or deport people who mthem sad. (I want to put up a '/s', but we all know this is true.)

I didn't know that Democrats ran the FBI.

You did know they run law enforcement in Ann Arbor though. You absolutely knew that and decided to gloss over the Democrats' blatant capitulation and abetment of the FBI's crimes. This was a local law enforcement raid with a few FBI agents attending. The Democrats control those cops and without their explicit go ahead, none of this happens. They're fascist collaborators and they deserve to be demonized for it and more

You're painting with a very broad brush and ignoring all parties involved. You keep saying "Democrats" are to blame, when it's one person. You’ve forgotten the judge who signed the warrant and the Republican led FBI who were behind it all.

It's a shitty thing and a Democrat shouldn't have gone along with it, but stop the misinformation that all Democrats are doing this crap

Democrats are a party. They accept collective responsibility by joining in coalition. Also, it wasn't just one democrat. Stuff like this crosses dozens of desks and they all were Democrats. And this is a consistent thing that they always do

It isn't misinformation to call Democrats fascist collaborators. That's exactly what they are
