Original Title: TIL that David Koresh of the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas got the idea for his name from one of his lovers, Lois Roden. She checked out a book from the Waco McLennan County Public Library in the 1980s on Cyrus Teed, an early 1900s cult leader from Southwest Florida who went by the name "Koresh".
