It's not as if the Yemenis could have done much with this information either, this message was sent out as the first F-18s took off, so there's little "advanced warning" factor, this message went out as the F-18s flew towards Yemen. Yemen or Iran should be able to detect launch movements themselves here.

Don't get me wrong it's still incredibly foolish to type this out on a signal chat room, would highly likely be considered classified, but it's not like Hegseth was saying "we will target this guy, at this time, at these co ordinates, using 4 AIM-154 JSOW glide bombs."

The interesting thing is that the US military still feels confident enough to fly MQ-9 Reaper drones over Yemen, despite over a dozen confirmed to have been shot down.

Update: 2-4 more B-2As are on their way to Diego Garcia, as ABBA 11-14 potentially. That would mean a total of 5-7 B-2A Spirit stealth bombers stationed at Diego Garcia. There are only 19 B-2As currently operational. This is getting into "strike Iran" territory. The B-2 deployment is expected to last until May 1st.
