With all the garbage, unrelated, and no-effort posts that get dumped in this community and then upvoted hundreds of times, it's hilarious that political memes, which are actually memes, are where people draw the line.
Just to clarify, my meme was more about Lemmy in general, also not the posts themselves but that the comment sections of all kind of things suddenly become (in my view unnecessarily) politically divisive. It just escalates quickly.

An hour later, there's three monumentally off-track replies raising points and arguing things no one fucking mentioned or ask for.
